The name, Torrey Park Grill, comes from what the neighborhood surrounding the restaurant has been known as for decades – Torrey Park.  For 75 years, this successful and popular Italian restaurant was known to many as Pronti’s.  In 2007, Pronti’s ownership changed hands, and the renovations started.
We want to continue Pronti's tradition, so much of the menu will be the same.  The chef will still dish up favorites like homemade gnocchi, greens and beans, Italian-style pork chops and fried bologna.  We  have added some new menu items and a bar menu for those who look for a casual, late-night atmosphere with lighter food, such as pizza, burgers and salads. One addition to the main menu has already become a favorite: stuffed rigatoni with vodka sauce.

The biggest difference in the restaurants atmosphere is a lounge area near the bar, where a sofa, chairs and small tables have been set up, with a large HDTV above the fireplace and a smaller one near the bar.  We want to create an atmosphere where you come in and relax and watch the ball game.

The dining room walls are now a shade of yellow; some bigger tables for 10 to 12 people have been added, and a private room can be used for parties of about 20. Behind the scenes, the kitchen has undergone a major upgrade, and the bar has new sinks, coolers and fixtures.
