TORREY PARK RESTAURANT —

Torrey Park Restaurant has been a beloved part of the Geneva community for generations.
Long before its modern revival, the building was home to Pronti’s, an iconic Italian restaurant opened in 1933 that served locals for more than 75 years. In the early 2000s, the space became Torrey Park Grill, named for the Italian heritage of the surrounding Torrey Park neighborhood — a neighborhood long known for great dining, including the famed Club 86, another Legott family enterprise located just across the street.

In 2007, ownership changed hands and renovations began. Bill & Lori Legott, along with Robert and Jeannan Moschiano, ran the restaurant for 14 years, building a reputation for warm hospitality, familiar Italian classics, and a gathering place that truly felt like home. Bill always believed Torrey Park should complement the history and timeless charm of Club 86.

After Bill’s unexpected passing in 2019, it became a natural moment of transition. The Legott children — Alex Palermo, Sarah Legott, Eric Legott, and Eric’s wife Allison — had grown up in the family’s hospitality businesses and were already deeply involved. The night before Bill passed, a purchase agreement with the Moschiano was finalized, honoring his long-standing hope that Torrey Park would remain in the family.

When the pandemic hit soon after, the new ownership used the pause to remodel the restaurant from top to bottom. After nearly a year of renovations, Torrey Park Restaurant reopened in early 2021, carrying forward its legacy with fresh energy and a renewed vision.

A FRESH ERA, ROOTED IN TRADITION

Today’s Torrey Park honors its long history while embracing a more modern, elevated dining experience.
The renovation — led by Bill Long, who also worked on the 2006 remodel and once cooked here as a teenager when it was Pronti’s — refreshed almost every inch of the space:

  • New flooring, lighting, wallpaper, paint, booths, and tables

  • Restored 80-year-old Club 86 velvet chairs, reupholstered to reflect Torrey Park’s warm, modern décor

  • A rebuilt kitchen with upgraded equipment, a new floor, and an expanded walk-in cooler

  • A dedicated fresh pasta room, supporting our commitment to handmade classics

  • A massive wood-fired pizza oven so powerful the basement floor had to be structurally reinforced

The balance is intentional: we preserved beloved features like the window booths overlooking Club 86, the cozy fireplace, and the welcoming bar — while adding thoughtful updates that reflect how people dine today.

HANDMADE FOOD, MODERN TWIST

Torrey Park continues to celebrate the dishes guests have loved for decades — including; Giblets, Fried bologna, Chicken Parmesan, Greens & beans, Chicken Riggies and more.
At the same time, we’ve expanded into fresher, more modern offerings rooted in scratch cooking:

  • Homemade sauces

  • Hand-rolled meatballs

  • Fresh, house-made pasta crafted daily in our pasta room

  • Wood-fired pizzas with creative, gourmet toppings

It’s food that feels familiar yet refreshed, comforting yet elevated — a place where families can share a pizza and salad, or couples can enjoy a slow, beautifully prepared dinner.

COCKTAILS, HOSPITALITY & THE TORREY PARK VIBE

Our beverage program — curated by Allison — has been significantly elevated and now features:

  • Handcrafted, modern cocktails

  • A curated wine list with new Italian selections

  • Zero-proof / spiritless options

  • Wine dinners with local Finger Lakes wineries

  • Monday Night Live Music

  • “Girl Dinner” on Sundays & Thursdays

Torrey Park offers a range of seating and experiences for every kind of gathering.

As Eric says: “It still has a casual feel. Don’t be fooled by the wine glasses on the table.”

Torrey Park is refined enough for celebrations, yet relaxed enough to remain your neighborhood go-to.
